Robe's patented Plano4™ 4-blade framing shutter module offers unparalleled beam control with individual movement and rotation control for each blade. The Plano4™ FC module features full curtain movement, allowing each blade to move entirely across the light path for full-wipe capability.

Our framing shutter systems facilitate the creation of geometric forms such as trapezoids, triangles, and very narrow shutter cuts without conflict as they operate in four individual planes. The shutter blades are both fast and precise, ensuring consistent repeatability.

Their ultra-thin design allows for sharp focus without any distortion. They can be easily used in combination with a gobo, and even when adding colour, you will experience no chromatic aberration, also known as "fringing." This makes our innovative framing shutters truly exceptional.

The entire module assembly is rotatable by 45° in older models and 60° in newer models, providing maximum flexibility. The smooth, ultra-fast blade movements with variable speed can even be used to create mid-air effects.
